Writing by admin on Wednesday, 10 of December , 2008 at 7:01 pm

One size does not fit all. Every person who is over weight will tell you a different story on how they got there. Overeating is not the only issue. So how could one weight loss program make everyone slim? It can’t so when hunting for that one solution, consider a program that addresses weight loss for everyone all in one program.

Have you ever wished you could go to just one website where you can find a weight loss for all programs that fit your weight problem issues? The internet is flooded with weight loss material each having one answer fits all.

To go a step further, many of the weight loss programs are impossible to follow forever. If you get involved in one of these programs you should ask yourself if this is something you can continue with for a long period of time. Plus, some of them are down right unhealthy. You need a program that you can stick with and that addresses your weight issues. Many people fail because they can’t stick with their program.

Can I Become a Certified Yoga Teacher - If I Was a Competitive Ice Skater?

Writing by admin on Wednesday, 10 of December , 2008 at 7:01 pm

Here is something to share with all of you. The following is a question and answer session between a potential applicant and me, which never came to fruition. Sometimes, Yoga is a little different from other activities.

Q: I am a former Silver Medalist figure skater and the years of competition have beaten my body up, but I would like to become a Yoga instructor and coach of ice skating. Does this seem like a viable option? I have a lot of back problems because of the pounding on the ice, but I will be able to do all the required poses.

A: Yes, being a Yoga teacher and a coach of ice skating would be a nice compliment toward the benefit of the young skaters you train, and you could teach them a lot about injury prevention and recovery from injuries. How long have you been practicing Yoga?

Q: Actually I never took a Yoga class, but I figured that it would be an easy transition and I could just jump into it. After all, I am very flexible and should be able to do all of the poses.

YOGA

When a person starts practicing Yoga he needs to maintain his calm as well as focus, you will not want anything distracting you from your concentration. There is nothing worse than losing your grip on the floor once changing poses and stretching.
